Tab Trade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Scam brokers do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
